A lot of shopping around ended up with me stumbling on&nbsp;the Dolan L&#8217;Etape. I&#8217;ve just done my first 50 mile ride on it and it&#8217;s superb. It&#8217;s very light with a carbon frame&nbsp;and a&nbsp;full Shimano Ultegra groupset and so&nbsp;feels genuinely special to ride and very fast. I have managed to reduce my commute time by 15 minutes, averaging about 19mph and down one&nbsp;steep hill I ended up doing 46mph and felt completely safe.
