The Birmingham Proof House
I have been lucky enough to be granted permission to follow a pair of guns around The Birmingham Proof House as they go through their process. This is a very rare opportunity and all my thanks goes to the Proof Master and his team for entertaining me. Particular thanks to Sam Perry, Micheal Beard and Lawrence High.
The guns are a pair of A.A.Brown & Sons over and under shotguns. The ‘Series 8’ is the first over and under to be produced by the firm and the pictures will form part of a photographic diary covering the making of these new guns. Information about them can be found here.
