Welcome to my photo tour of the original Snobs Nightclub. If your teens and twenties were anything like mine, you likely spent more time walking this route than any other. If you’ve never been, then have a little chuckle at the place so many brummies have almost lived for 42 years.
Sadly, the oldest club in Birmingham is no more. I DJ’d the small room for 10 years and had the honour of playing the last song ever to be played in that room. I took these photos for myself and was lucky enough to be granted access, but so many people have asked to see them I thought I’d put them on this blog.
There have been a few requests for prints of theses pics already, so if you’re interested in a canvas or poster print, or even a high res digital file email me at info@matthewbrown-photography.com for prices.
Remember that Snobs does still exist, and has new premises on the corner of Hurst Street and Smallbrook Queensway. Its a stunning new venue and promises to go at least another 42 years, so I hope to see you all in there sometime.
